Radiology Technologist (PRN) – Live Well Homecare

Role Overview:

This position is for a PRN Radiology Technologist responsible for performing general diagnostic imaging procedures independently, including in-house, OR, portable, and ER settings. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, provides high-quality customer service, and works with advanced imaging equipment such as Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream systems. Responsibilities include conducting radiographic examinations, occasionally assisting in the operating room, and managing portable exams and emergency room procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and ARRT registration
Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois), if applicable
Preferred: at least 2 years of experience and CPR certification

Key Duties:

Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring safety and clarity in instructions

Perform radiographic imaging independently across various clinical settings

Occasionally assist in surgical procedures and emergency situations

Handle portable exams and other departmental tasks with professionalism
