Role Overview
Seeking a CT/Radiology Tech to perform general imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-rays, to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. The role requires preparing patients and equipment, delivering high-quality imaging independently, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct radiographic examinations on adult and pediatric patients.
- Ensure proper preparation of patients and equipment, explaining procedures clearly.
- Perform imaging tasks independently, including portable exams and on-call situations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or trade school training in radiologic technology.
- Registration in CT within six months of hire; Radiology Technologist registration preferred.
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois) and CPR certification.
- Experience preferred, with a minimum of no experience required; two years’ experience desirable.
Additional Details
- Must be CT registered or willing to cross-train if R.T.(R) registered.
- Work scheduled for nights, with weekend option pay and holiday requirements.
