Role Overview:
Seeking a Radiology Technologist for a Convenient Care (After Hours) position at a South County Location. The role involves performing general imaging radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Key responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, providing clear instructions, and independently conducting radiographic examinations, including portable and on-call procedures. The position offers 16 hours per week, with scheduled shifts from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on weekdays and 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Candidates must be able to work every other weekend. The role is non-benefits eligible.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Associate degree or Trade School equivalent
- Licenses & Certifications: Radiology Technologist – Registered; IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI)
- Experience: No prior experience required; preferred includes 2+ years of experience and CPR certification
- Must demonstrate professionalism, customer service, and the ability to perform radiographic procedures independently.
