Role Overview:
The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Key responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, instructing patients on procedures, and independently conducting radiographic exams, including portable and on-call procedures. The role requires delivering high-quality, courteous, and compassionate clinical services with prompt response to patient and physician requests.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or trade school training in radiologic technology
- Radiology Technologist license (Reg) and IEMA certification for Illinois
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience and CPR certification
- Strong customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail
