Radiology Technologist (Nights)

Role Overview:

A Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures independently, working with adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, conducting radiographic exams, and occasionally assisting in the Operating Room (OR) and emergency room (ER). The role involves working with advanced imaging equipment, such as Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream systems, and providing high-quality patient care with professionalism.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))) and ARRT registration
  • No experience necessary; new grads and experienced technologists encouraged to apply
  • Preferred experience includes at least 2 years and CPR certification
  • Licenses: IEMA (Illinois), Radiology Technologist – Registered

Key Duties:

  • Perform radiographic imaging independently and in emergency situations
  • Prepare and inform patients about procedures, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Handle portable exams and assist with tasks as assigned
  • Work with various imaging equipment and occasionally in the OR
