Role Overview:
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures independently to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, conducting portable exams, and working autonomously in emergency and operating room settings.
Work involves using Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream imaging equipment, with occasional OR tasks.
The role requires excellent customer service, professionalism, and technical proficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and ARRT registration
- CPR certification preferred; experience is not mandatory, open to new grads and experienced technologists
- Illinois IEMA license (excluding MRI) is required
Key Duties:
- Perform radiographic exams independently, including portable and ER imaging
- Prepare patients and educate on procedures with high professionalism
- Occasional work in OR and emergency settings
