Role Overview:
Seeking a Charge MRI Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, independently conducting studies, troubleshooting, mentoring staff, and serving as a clinical resource. The technologist will oversee shift operations, coordinate workflow, and ensure quality control, while acting as a liaison between the team and supervision.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Performing studies independently and in on-call situations
- Managing shift operations, workflow, and prioritizing tasks
- Mentoring staff and assisting with difficult exams
- Serving as a clinical resource and problem solver
- Ensuring proper communication and supplies management
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- 2-5 years of radiology experience, including MRI and operating room imaging
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) or equivalent
- Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), ARRT, and other relevant certifications
- Preferred experience of 5-10 years and CPR certification
