Radiology Technologist – Mid Shift

Role Overview: Radiologic Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, acquire and analyze data for diagnosis, and assist licensed practitioners while ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain correct orders, ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety and quality.
  • Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed; evaluate images for quality and proper positioning; verify data storage and transfer.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the radiology department.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months; applicants hired after a specific date must complete steps for level 2 advancement within 24 months.
