Radiology Technologist (Evening)

Role Overview

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients to support diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, providing clear instructions, and independently executing radiographic exams, including portable and on-call procedures. The role requires a high level of customer service, professionalism, and prompt response to service requests.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Associate degree or Trade School equivalent
  • Licenses & Certifications: Radiology Technologist registration; IEMA license for Illinois (excluding MRI); CPR certification preferred
  • Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred
  • Additional: Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to work independently

Key Duties

  • Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
  • Inform patients about procedures with excellent customer service
  • Perform imaging exams accurately and efficiently
  • Respond to service requests promptly and collaborate with medical staff
