Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic

Role Overview

The Radiology Technologist performs advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, adhering to age-specific criteria and departmental standards.
They collaborate with radiologists, participate in quality control, and serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, and medical staff.
The position requires working 8-hour, variable shifts on a per diem basis, with responsibilities focused on delivering high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

  • Performing technical diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department standards
  • Collaborating with radiologists and supervising staff
  • Engaging in quality control and organizational improvement activities
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families
  • Ensuring compliance with age-specific and safety criteria
  • Qualifications & Skills

    • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
    • California Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
    • American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire
    • National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

    Preferred Experience & Attributes

    • Hospital-based radiography experience
