Role Overview:
Seeking a Full-Time Advanced Modality – Cath Lab/Vascular Radiology Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in advanced modalities such as Cardiac Catheterization, Vascular, and Hybrid OR fluoro equipment. The role involves supporting vascular and cardiac procedures, monitoring patient vitals, setting up sterile fields, and working collaboratively with medical teams. Cross-training opportunities for scrubbing are available, making it ideal for those looking to expand beyond general radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
- Perform studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations
- Assist in imaging support during vascular and cardiac procedures
- Operate Siemens advanced imaging equipment to ensure high-quality images
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))
- Experience in radiology modalities such as MR, CT, X-ray preferred but not required; new grads are welcome
- Licenses and certifications including IEMA, RTR, CT, MR, and others
- Strong attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to work in fast-paced environments
