Role Overview:
The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, explaining procedures with professionalism, and independently executing radiographic exams, including portable and on-call situations. No weekend or call duties are required, with flexible scheduling options such as 10-hour shifts or 8-hour shifts.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or trade school training in radiologic technology
- Licenses: Radiology Technologist Certification; IEMA license for Illinois (excluding MRI)
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience and CPR certification
- No prior supervisor experience required; no experience necessary for entry-level roles
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and equipment, provide instructions, and ensure high-quality patient care
- Conduct radiographic examinations independently across various settings
- Respond promptly to service requests, deliver rapid results, and uphold compassionate clinical services
