Radiology Technologist

Role Overview:

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiology procedures for patients of all ages, under the supervision of a Radiologist. They handle radiographic procedures independently, applying technical expertise and judgment to ensure quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric radiologic procedures
  • Applying technical skills and independent judgment to produce accurate images
  • Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards
  • Collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care
  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • Successful completion of a recognized Radiology Technology program
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of hospital radiology experience with diverse procedure competencies
