Role Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiology procedures for patients of all ages, under the supervision of a Radiologist. They handle radiographic procedures independently, applying technical expertise and judgment to ensure quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
Performing adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric radiologic procedures
Applying technical skills and independent judgment to produce accurate images
Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures
Maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards
Collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care
Qualifications & Skills:
Successful completion of a recognized Radiology Technology program
Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire
National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred: at least 1 year of hospital radiology experience with diverse procedure competencies
