Radiology Technician Per Diem, Surgery Center – Las Vegas, NV

Role Overview: The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring accurate image production and adherence to departmental protocols. They manage daily operations within the Imaging department, participate in team meetings, and deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities: Produces x-ray images following physician orders, verifies patient and exam details, maintains imaging records in compliance with HIPAA, and ensures image quality. Maintains radiology equipment, work area, and supplies, while following safety standards and radiation precautions. Assists with copies of images and reports, and may be assigned to other modalities or sites based on operational needs. Participates in meetings and training, maintaining required licensures and certifications.


Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; graduation or current attendance at an accredited Radiology Technology program; current Nevada license or Student Tech license; knowledge of imaging guidelines, radiology equipment, safety, and quality assurance. Preferred qualifications include ARRT certification, hospital setting experience, proficiency with PACS/EHR systems, strong communication, patient positioning skills, and good organization.


Compensation & Benefits: Hourly pay ranges from $24.00 to $43.00, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive health packages, incentives, 401k, and stock options, with a focus on equitable and inclusive care.
