Role Summary: Performs various radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation to support patient diagnosis and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists in advanced procedures such as ERCPs, fluoroscopies, OR procedures, lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, and more, demonstrating competency and troubleshooting skills.
Ensures quality imaging by verifying markers, documenting information, and preparing images for radiologist review.
Maintains patient safety, manages workflow, and communicates delays or concerns to patients and staff.
Operates PACS and EMR systems accurately, processes charges, and ensures proper documentation.
Responds appropriately to emergency situations and stays informed of departmental updates.
Promotes patient satisfaction by adhering to organizational standards and behavior essentials.
Qualifications & Skills:
Certified through an accredited radiology program with ARRT registration and SCRQSA certification (if applicable).
CPR certification required.
Customer service, teamwork, proficient computer skills, data entry, and knowledge of PACS and EMR systems.
