Radiology Technologist
Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-focused care setting. Perform radiographic exams based on physician orders and established protocols, ensuring accurate positioning, optimal image quality, and compliance with radiation safety standards.
Key Duties
- Operate radiology imaging equipment to produce diagnostically reliable images.
- Verify patient identification, prepare patients for imaging, and follow protocol requirements.
- Ensure proper radiation safety practices and safe imaging techniques.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
- Document and maintain accurate records in PACS/EHR systems.
Qualifications & Skills
- Radiology/Imaging competency to perform prescribed radiographic exams.
- Strong attention to detail for positioning, technique, and image quality.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protocol-driven clinical workflow.
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide compassionate patient care.
- Comfort working with PACS/EHR systems for documentation and imaging records.
