Role: Radiology Technologist
Responsibilities:
Perform and assist radiologists with radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
Provide safe and comfortable patient care during procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of exams using RIS/PACS and patient charts.
Prepare and clean imaging rooms daily.
Attend departmental meetings and in-services, and deliver excellent customer service.
Provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Radiology section.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Two years of college or equivalent certification.
NYS license in Radiologic Technology or permit with licensure within six months.
ARRT certification required within one year if licensed after 2007.
Preferred: radiologic technologist experience.
Physical Requirements: Moderate exertion, including walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
