Radiation Therapist (RT(T)) – Brachy

Role Overview: This position involves performing patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. The role includes preparing patients and charts, delivering accurate treatments, coordinating scheduling, and assisting physicians with procedures. It offers opportunities for cross-training and utilizing advanced radiation therapy technologies, including imaging, dosimetry, and HDR treatments.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and charts prior to procedures.
  • Administer consistent and precise radiation treatments.
  • Complete treatment processes and manage patient scheduling.
  • Assist with supplies and equipment for procedures.
  • Provide patient education and support.
  • Potential for cross-training in other Radiation Oncology areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Radiation Therapy program completion.
  • Board Certified by ARRT (RT[T]).
  • Licensure as R.T.(T).
  • No prior experience required; training provided.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Radiation Therapy.
