Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Brachytherapy Certified Radiation Therapist to join the team, with training provided for brachytherapy experience. This full-time position involves preparing patients and charts, delivering accurate radiation treatments, coordinating scheduling, administering radiopharmaceutical treatments, and providing patient education. The role offers opportunities for cross-training within the Radiation Oncology system and utilizing advanced treatment techniques with the latest technology in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and charts prior to procedures
- Deliver consistent and precise treatments
- Complete treatment processes and coordinate scheduling
- Assist physicians with procedures by preparing supplies
- Administer HDR treatments and radiopharmaceuticals
- Support imaging, dosimetry, and clinical duties
Qualifications & Skills:
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Board Certified by ARRT (RT[T])
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Licensure as R.T.(T) required
- No prior experience necessary; training provided
