We are seeking a Senior Brachytherapy Certified Radiation Therapist to perform patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the guidance of a Radiation Oncologist.
Responsibilities include: preparing patients and charts, delivering accurate treatments, coordinating scheduling, assisting physicians with procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and providing patient education. The role offers opportunities for cross-training and utilizing advanced radiation therapy technologies, including HDR treatments and imaging techniques.
Qualifications: completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program, ARRT certification (RT(T)), with a high school diploma or GED; 2-5 years of experience preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy is a plus.
Skills: attention to detail, patient communication, knowledge of radiation treatment protocols, and familiarity with advanced treatment equipment.
