Public Safety Officer

Role Overview


The position involves patrolling designated areas to identify safety hazards, unauthorized individuals, and potential risks to persons or property.
Responsibilities include conducting initial investigations of complaints, incidents, and accidents, and preparing detailed written reports.
Providing assistance and directions to patients, visitors, and staff, including helping with mobility when needed, is also a key duty.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Minimum of 20 hours of training per Illinois Department of Professional Regulation or certification as a Peace Officer in Illinois.
  • Valid Illinois driver’s license or willingness to obtain one within six months.
  • Covid vaccination required.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of relevant experience.
