PT GI Nurse Practitioner

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive patient care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, Texas.

Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.

Performs assessments, reviews diagnostics, prescribes treatments, and educates patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care and maintains accurate documentation.

Participates in staff meetings, training, and quality initiatives, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications include: Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.

Work schedule: Two 8-hour days/week with potential for additional shifts, on-site in-person role. Must be able to relocate before starting. Physical requirements include standing, walking, and patient handling within safety guidelines.
