The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, TX.
Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease. Performs assessments, reviews diagnostics, and develops treatment plans aligned with evidence-based guidelines. Prescribes medications and therapies, educates patients on disease management, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and maintains accurate medical documentation. Participates in staff meetings, training, and quality initiatives, adhering to legal and ethical standards. Qualifications include: Master’s in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
Schedule: Two days per week, 8 hours daily, with potential for additional shifts. This is an in-person, on-site role requiring physical stamina and adherence to safety standards.
Must be willing to relocate to Farwell, TX prior to start.
