Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. Develops treatment plans, prescribes medications, and offers patient education on disease management and lifestyle modifications. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and maintains accurate documentation. Participates in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement efforts while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Requires a Master’s degree, Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
