PT GI Nurse Practitioner

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive GI care under physician supervision, focusing on patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education.

Perform evaluations, interpret diagnostic tests, and manage conditions like GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.

Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical, ethical, and legal standards.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active Texas Nurse Practitioner license, national NP certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology.

The position requires working two days per week on-site, with possible additional shifts, involving physical activity and exposure to clinical environments. Relocation to Farwell, TX, is required prior to start.
