The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, TX.
Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. Develops individualized treatment plans, prescribes medications, and educates patients on disease management and lifestyle changes. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintains accurate medical documentation. Participates in clinical meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives, adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards. Requires a Master’s in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national NP certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology. Work schedule is two days per week, on-site, with potential for additional shifts. Physical ability to work in a clinical environment is necessary. Relocation to Farwell, TX, is required before starting.
