This role involves providing psychiatric care in inpatient acute and long-term facilities, with onsite rounding from 8:30 am to 6 pm Monday through Thursday and 24-hour remote call on weekends.
Responsibilities:
See 12-16 patients per shift, manage cases involving anxiety, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, and organic disorders. Handle involuntary commitments and seclusion therapy; experience with ECT, pharmacotherapy, and group/family therapy is preferred. Participate in urgent backfill coverage, ensuring quality patient care. Work a guaranteed 9.5-hour onsite shift with paid malpractice, pre-paid travel, and housing expenses.
