Seeking a board-certified or eligible Psychiatrist to join a behavioral health team at a 113-bed hospital in Valdosta, GA, serving adolescents, teens, and adults.
Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management across inpatient, PHP, and IOP settings.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including therapists, nurses, and social workers.
Conduct patient rounds, follow-ups, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Option to serve as Medical Director with additional stipend.
Treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, behavioral and substance use disorders.
Qualifications include MD/DO, BC/BE in Psychiatry, Georgia license eligibility, and DEA certification.
