Psychiatrist and Medical Director

A well-established health organization is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as Psychiatrist and Medical Director for their inpatient program. This full-time role combines direct patient care with strategic leadership, overseeing psychiatric and medical services to ensure high-quality, evidence-based, trauma-informed care.

Clinical responsibilities: Conduct evaluations, manage medications, interpret diagnostic data, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with standards.

Medical director duties: Lead clinical teams, oversee staffing, participate in leadership meetings, and ensure regulatory compliance and quality improvement.

Qualifications: MD or DO with Board Certification, active license, inpatient treatment experience preferred, and leadership experience is a plus.
