Psychiatrist and Medical Director

Seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as Psychiatrist & Medical Director for an inpatient program.

This senior role combines direct patient care with strategic leadership, overseeing psychiatric and medical services to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed, evidence-based care.

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, daily rounds, and medication management.

Lead clinical teams, oversee staffing, and support staff development.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with leadership and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Maintain licensure, demonstrate professionalism, and model patient-centered care.

Qualifications include MD or DO, Board Certification in Psychiatry, active license, and preferably inpatient experience.
