Psychiatrist and Medical Director

A well-established health organization is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as Psychiatrist and Medical Director for their inpatient program.

This senior role combines direct patient care with strategic leadership, overseeing psychiatric and medical services to ensure high-quality, evidence-based, trauma-informed care.

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and respond to emergencies.

Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and oversee staffing and provider recruitment.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Maintain active licensure, model patient-centered care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications include MD or DO, Board Certification in Psychiatry, inpatient experience preferred, and strong knowledge of regulatory standards.
