The role involves diagnosing and treating mental and behavioral health conditions, supervising mental health staff, conducting assessments, therapy, and medication education, and collaborating with the care team to develop comprehensive patient plans.
Core duties include ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting results, providing counseling, managing patient care, and ensuring documentation in EMR systems. The psychiatrist will also participate in outreach, support patient retention, and uphold compliance standards.
Qualifications include a MD/DO, board certification in Psychiatry, valid licensure, DEA registration, and experience with adult patients.
