Seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for onsite, full-time (0.8-1.0 FTE) work in a supportive behavioral health organization with over 2,000 staff across multiple states.
The role involves diagnosing, treating, and preventing mental health and emotional disorders, evaluating patient well-being, creating treatment plans, and prescribing medication, primarily for adult or lifespan populations.
- Provide psychiatric assessments, determine medication needs, and manage urgent crisis evaluations.
- Collaborate with treatment teams and document interactions in compliance with standards.
- Participate in staff meetings and consultations, maintaining a patient-centered, empathetic environment.
Requirements include a Master’s or Doctorate in Psychiatric Nursing, an active Wisconsin license, PMHNP certification, and 1-2+ years of APNP experience. Proficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft Office is necessary.
