We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide consultative behavioral health services in long-term care and community settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing behavioral conditions collaboratively with social workers, psychiatrists, and medical providers
- Performing comprehensive behavioral health assessments and documenting findings in compliance with regulations
- Facilitating care plan development, implementation, and evaluation to meet patient needs and reduce costs
- Coordinating care across different settings and adjusting plans as conditions change
- Applying innovative approaches to behavioral health in long-term care environments
Qualifications:
- Unrestricted NP license and PMHNP certification
- Active DEA licensure or ability to obtain
- At least 1 year of experience in long-term or community care settings
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for travel between care sites
Preferred:
- Over 3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
This role offers a flexible, autonomous environment focused on patient-centered, non-pharmacological care, with no weekends, major holidays, or on-call duties. Compensation ranges from $109,500 to $164,000, including benefits, incentives, and development opportunities.
