Role Overview:
Seeking a Registered Sonographer for a PRN position to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting imaging procedures independently, and documenting examinations accurately. May assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages, and perform portable or on-call studies across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper function and readiness of ultrasound equipment.
- Perform imaging examinations with precise documentation.
- Conduct studies independently, including portable and on-site exams.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent training.
- RDMS certification required; additional certifications like RDCS or CPR preferred.
- No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
- Licenses & certifications in sonography and CPR are essential.
