Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for administering respiratory care, medication, and patient assessment in complex and critical care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care through assessment, collaboration, and therapy administration, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas sampling.
- Educate patients and support staff, mentor new employees, and participate in staff development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure safe, high-quality care by promoting accurate documentation, medication safety, and evidence-based practices.
- Assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support a culture of compassionate service.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
- Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS required.
- 0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, with the ability to build professional relationships.
