Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered respiratory care, including ventilator management, airway management, and aerosolized medication administration.
- Perform assessments, collaborate with healthcare team, and develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients, families, and support staff, and mentor new employees and students.
- Ensure a safe, high-quality environment by promoting accurate documentation, medication safety, and adherence to performance improvement initiatives.
- Participate in invasive/non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
- Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Prof, BLS, and ACLS (required upon hire).
- 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, and computer skills.
