Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments in critical care areas.
Key Duties: Manage ventilator therapies, perform airway management, analyze arterial blood gases, educate patients and staff, and collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and execute patient care. Ensure patient safety, promote quality initiatives, and support documentation and compliance with policies.
Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy preferred. Must hold NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Experience of 0-2 years, with at least 6 months in critical care required.
Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, assessment, and computer skills. Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments and mentor new staff and students.
