Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality patient care through assessments, therapy planning, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Perform ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas sampling, and pulmonary diagnostics.
Educate patients, support staff, and new employees; promote a safe, evidence-based, and quality-focused environment.
Ensure accurate documentation, electronic order management, and compliance with safety standards and policies.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and invasive procedures as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional (RCP), BLS, and ACLS.
0-2 years clinical experience, with a minimum of 6 months in critical care.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills; proficient in computer and database use.
