Role: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of licensed healthcare professionals. Maintains accountability for patient care, ensures patient rights, and protects confidentiality.
Responsibilities: Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains professional standards, and adheres to state licensing requirements.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience, with current LPN licensure and compliance with state Board of Nursing standards.
Preferred Skills & Certifications: Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., and LPN-IV may be required based on the unit. Successful completion of required courses within specified timeframes is expected.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical movements like bending, kneeling, and reaching during shifts.
