Role Overview:
Seeking a PRN CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, and interventional techniques. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and supporting quality control efforts. Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of CT experience, hold current CT certification and/or radiologic technologist credentials, and have an associate degree or higher in a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable and on-call exams.
- Ensure proper patient preparation and equipment setup.
- Support advanced imaging modalities like CT-guided biopsies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- CT Certification and/or previous CT experience.
- Minimum one year of radiologic or imaging experience preferred.
- Licenses such as R.T.(R), CT, MRI, or other relevant certifications.
- Experience in medical imaging fields like radiology, X-ray, or radiologic technology is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certifications such as IEMA (Illinois), RT, CT, MR, or equivalent.
- Preferred experience includes two or more years in imaging and CPR, intravenous therapy certifications.
