Role Overview:
Seeking a PRN Cardiac Sonographer to perform various cardiac tests, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echo, and cardiac doppler. The role involves functioning as a lead and resource for other staff, assisting in coordinating lab activities, training new employees, and ensuring credentialing and quality assurance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac tests at multiple locations, primarily in outpatient settings.
- Lead by maintaining credentials, conducting quality assurance, and case auditing.
- Assist with staff training and lab coordination.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Allied Health/Sonography preferred.
- 2-5 years of sonography experience; 5-10 years preferred.
- Certification as RDCS or equivalent; CPR certification required.
- Experience in supervising staff is advantageous.
