Role Overview:
Seeking a PRN Cardiac Sonographer to perform various cardiac tests including treadmill stress tests, holter monitoring, echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo, and cardiac doppler. The role involves functioning as a lead and resource for other staff, assisting with lab coordination, training new employees, and ensuring credentialing and quality assurance activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting tests at multiple locations
- Leading by maintaining credentials, auditing cases, and managing quality assurance
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with Sonography certification (RDCS or equivalent)
- 2-5 years of experience; preferred associate’s degree in Allied Health/Sonography with 5-10 years of experience
- License in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation; no supervisory experience required
Skills: Strong knowledge of cardiac testing procedures, leadership abilities, credential management, and quality assurance expertise.
