Private Duty Nurse – RN (Nights/Weekends)

Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) providing skilled nursing care in patients’ homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and document quality patient care according to physician orders and care plans.
  • Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and report to supervisors or physicians.
  • Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care, and prevention.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure infection control measures and safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and skill development.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the practice state.
  • Current CPR certification and TB test within the past year.
  • Proficiency in assessments, documentation, and compliance.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum six months of clinical nursing experience preferred, with specific experience for certain specialties.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform prolonged standing, and respond to emergency situations.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments, potentially exposed to infectious materials.
