PACU Nurse
Provide expert post-anesthesia nursing care in a fast-paced surgical setting. Perform focused patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage airways to support safe recovery. Administer IV medications and contribute to effective pain and nausea control. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and a compassionate care team to coordinate clinical care and ensure patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct focused assessments and ongoing monitoring during recovery
- Manage airways and respond to changes in patient status
- Administer IV medications as ordered and monitor effects
- Support pain management and nausea control
- Work collaboratively with anesthesia providers and surgical teams
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nursing licensure (RN)
- Strong clinical judgment and patient monitoring skills
- Competence with airway management and post-anesthesia observation
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Compassionate, respectful patient-centered care
