The staff Obstetrics physician provides outpatient care for acute and chronic conditions, diagnoses, orders tests, prescribes treatments, and performs procedures within scope and protocols.
They see approximately 20 patients daily, manage walk-ins, handle after-hours calls (phone only), and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Key duties include supporting organizational values, prioritizing workload, delivering professional patient care, documenting findings, developing treatment plans per ACOG standards, and supervising NP/PAs.
Qualifications include MD/DO, OB/GYN certification, state license, residency completion, and board eligibility or certification. Preferred experience includes ambulatory care and bilingual skills. Must be proficient in EMR, with strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and committed to confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and quality improvement activities.
