Physician/Director of Medical Services

The Physician will provide outpatient medical care to patients of all ages in a rural setting and serve as Director of Medical Services, overseeing the clinic and medical team.

Responsibilities include delivering responsible, respectful patient care, obtaining histories, diagnostics, treatments, and prevention services; coordinating referrals; documenting all visits; and managing ongoing treatment for chronic patients.

Additional duties involve supervising medical staff, developing procedures, ensuring quality improvement, coordinating specialty clinics, maintaining compliance with regulations, and participating in community education and meetings.

The role requires licensed MD or DO with experience in primary care, preferred board certification, and knowledge of Native American health needs. Supervisory and leadership skills, along with excellent communication, are essential.

Work is in a clinical setting with potential travel, exposure to diseases, and physical demands. Certifications like CPR and vaccinations are required. The position offers full-time hours, benefits, and a salary range of $153,000–$276,000 annually.
