The Physician will provide outpatient medical services in a rural setting, overseeing the clinic and medical team as Director of Medical Services.
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including histories, diagnoses, treatments, and prevention services for all ages.
- Coordinate referrals, supervise mid-level practitioners, and develop standard procedures for quality improvement.
- Maintain documentation, ensure compliance with regulations, and participate in staff training and community education.
- Develop specialty clinics (e.g., diabetes, wellness, immunizations) and collaborate with external agencies for holistic care.
- Supervise clinic staff, ensure staff competence, and provide consultation as needed.
- Maintain current licensure, certifications, and continuing education, with some travel and occasional after-hours availability.
Qualifications include a WA medical license, experience in primary care, potential board certification, and familiarity with Native American health needs preferred.
