The Physician will deliver outpatient medical care to patients of all ages in a rural setting, serving as Director of Medical Services.
Provide responsible, respectful patient care, including histories, screenings, diagnoses, treatments, and prevention services. Coordinate care for chronic patients, perform telephone consultations, and ensure documentation within 24 hours. Refer complex cases to specialists and collaborate with external agencies for comprehensive care. Develop procedures, train staff, oversee medical team, and ensure quality improvement. Maintain electronic health records, ensure compliance, and participate in committees and community education. Supervise medical staff, coordinate specialty clinics, and stay current with ongoing education. Work in a clinical setting, occasionally travel, and adhere to safety and immunization protocols. Qualifications include a licensed MD or DO, experience in primary care, and preferred board certification.
