Physician/Director of Medical Services

The Physician provides outpatient medical services to patients of all ages in a rural setting, serving as Director of Medical Services to oversee the clinic and medical team.


Responsibilities include delivering responsible patient care, obtaining histories, diagnosing, ordering tests, administering treatments, coordinating referrals, and providing prevention and education services. The role involves electronic documentation, supervising mid-level practitioners, developing protocols, and ensuring quality improvement. The physician collaborates with staff, maintains compliance with regulations, and participates in community education and clinic development, including specialty clinics.


Supervisory duties include managing medical staff, and the position requires licensure in Washington, experience in primary care, and preferred board certification. Additional qualifications include MAT experience, BLS/ACLS certifications, and cultural knowledge of Native Americans. The role demands flexibility, excellent communication, and independence in a rural setting.
